Well i have started hand quilting the cot quilt in the 'Jolly jungel' fabric and the giraffe is done but ts a long way round the elephant lol!
Just been sent my Christmas block swap partner and looking forward to making a start on the block soon.
Finished a needle case but think its a bit big.
Sat in beautiful sunshine which is lovely afte an awful winter :)
New to quilting and loving learning from a great teacher!

Im a cancer survivor of 5 years now i had womb cancer which lead to a hystorectomy but thanks to some wonderful doctors im fine now. Loving learning to quilt as i have always wanted to make a quilt, having done an adult learning course and been bored ridged im now with a great group and brilliant patient teacher :)

3 corners workshop feb 2011
Had a great day at the workshop run by Jean !! learnt some new skills and met some very nice people.
Bought more fabric (like you do lol).
A few of the girls from Monday evening where there Val, Andrea and Carol so it was easier and made me less nervouse :)
Now have some great iseas running around my head for projects to do.

Baby quilt dilema !!!
Not sure which way im going with the quilting on the cot quilt ???
Topper is made and Jean has said to have a go at quilting it myself and not send it off for long arm work.
Just hope i don't mess it up!!!
Lookng foward to the 3 corner day on Saturday, lobe to learn something new :)
