I have now got my head around the shoo fly blocks on the vignette quilt and have done 2 sets of 7 at last !!!
Also made a start on the stitching for block one as i decided to do it all in one piece, should have it done this weekend yayyyyyyyy!!
Sad day as my beautiful sister died 7 years ago today after her brave fight with cancer :( Miss you Pat xxxx

Im a cancer survivor of 5 years now i had womb cancer which lead to a hystorectomy but thanks to some wonderful doctors im fine now. Loving learning to quilt as i have always wanted to make a quilt, having done an adult learning course and been bored ridged im now with a great group and brilliant patient teacher :)

You are one up on me on Vignette. I am nervous about joining those blocks for some reason. I have a bit more stitching to do on a couple more quilts then I will be starting. Probably next month.
So sorry for your loss and sadness. I hope the week gets better.
